In order to improve my culinary knowledge and skills i decided to attend some extra classes and workshops. There's a whole range of different cooking schools in london which offer everything from demonstrations about a cuisine or specific techniques by a famous michelin star chef to practical classes lasting from 30 min to several hours.
After some research i signed up for a bunch of them starting off with a 2 hour practical class at L'atelier des chefs about autumn flavors...
The menu consisted of a watercress soup with chive cream, sauteed wild mushrooms on sourdough toast with a thyme creme fraiche, roast cod fillet with wilted spinach and a shellfish and girolle beurre blanc and an apple and blackberry crumble...
